Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, also known as the Park Avenue Hotel was designed by Louis Kamper for Lew Tuller and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Salvation Army used the building as a homeless shelter. When operations moved in 2007, the Salvation Army planned to sell the building to a developer. However, the plans fell through, and the building was abandoned.
The hotel was demolished July 11, 2015.
